Emacs comes in two flavours: XEmacs and GNU Emacs. There is not
much difference between them; GNU Emacs is more standard, but XEmacs
has a somewhat better graphical interface and has all the features
of the GNU Emacs.
Emacs offers:
- HTML syntax highlighting
- Validity checking by DTDs
- Editing also XML and SGML
- Editing features such as:
- Indentation
- Indented word-wrap with Alt+Q
