There were these...soldiers. Those Romans are nuts...
Maps on a wall, depicting how the Roman empire spread.
Entry fee to Colosseum would have been some 10,000L (about 5 EUR), and I have already been there many years ago, and the queue was so long, that I didn't go inside. There was a Che Quesvar march at one corner of the Colosseum.
Instead, I went to see the Palatino hill, for which the entry was 12,000L (about 6 EUR). But, it was less crowded.
There were orange trees in a garden, and two very beautiful green fountains.
In the other fountain, there were different kinds of fishes there.
I did not have much time to visit the Forum, but saw at least a few buildings. Lots of tourists there.
There was this palace and statue of Marcus Aurelius.
I make a big mistake in not buying a travel guidebook. I lost quite a lot time in going to places that were closed and missed many things. I also didn't find any mithraea, temples of Mithra. Well, hopefully next time.
