sorry, mistake.

>>> 'tylan1' problem from hoagland -- Fri Jan 27 13:28:34 1989 <<<

Bank1 went down last night for unknown reasons, though operator
incompetence seems a likely possibilty. This incident provided a good
oppportunity to install the battery backup modification, which is
now operational and will prevent future loss of calibrations in cases
such as this. Tubes 1 and 2 are running SCAL and should be up for use
by this evening, tubes 3 and 4 tomorrow. It is the responsibilty
of users to report problems like this(complete bank down- no firing
and all boats out) as soon they are observed, and especially if the
operator's actions precipitate the failure. Users should further
manually insert boats to reduce heat loss and contamination.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE; if a boatloader is not operating properly, DO NOT
switch the slave CPU cage off or tamper with it in any way. Use the
manual boat switches on the ROP panel and report the problem on the
wand.

The tylan controller shut down mid way through a run.
There should at least be an alarm of some sort on the tylans
and better yet, a logging system.

Steve reset the controller.

>>> 'tylan1' problem from seh -- Mon Nov  6 17:24:11 1989 <<<

I left the lab at 2PM at which time my steam oxidation had completed
3 hours of a 5 hour process. I logged on at 4:30PM to find that the
process had restarted sometime around 3:40PM. Either the tycom aborted
the process and somehow restarted it, or some incompetent idiot did
without bothering to notify me. When I came in the display was reading
run. I had left it with the display showing the time remaining. I'll
leave it to the staff to figure out if the machine could have done all
of this.

>>> 'tylan1' fix from bob -- Wed May  9 13:24:05 1990 <<<

problem :bank1 down
cause   :??
solution:measured supply voltages on the mother board of the slave cage.
         The voltages and power supply checked out OK. Reset
	 slave cpu, dtc and tycom. Loaded main1-4X. tylan1
         is now up and running a calibration. It is enabled
         in my name and can be used when the cal is finished.
         The cause of bank1 failures evades detection. We
         are still looking into this. In the meantime tylan1 is
         up as well as the rest of the tubes of bank1.
