Replaced radioactive static eliminators in the gcaws and
the gcapg. The old cartridges will be sent back via proper
channels.

House O2 line vented to atmosphere. semi users reported plasma showed
presence of N2. Line needs to be purged.

>>> 'gases' problem from evan -- Fri Jun  2 09:10:06 1989 <<<

All O2 lines in old lab and each service chase were purged starting at the
old lab and vlsi areas and working in towards O2 feed.

The N2 bottle which backs up the laser has been depleted. Please
replace with new bottle ASAP. The laser goes down approximately
once every twenty minutes without the backup bottle and it takes
15 minutes to warmup after it goes down.

>>> 'gases' problem from evan -- Fri Aug 11 15:28:41 1989 <<<

A new high pressure has been installed and the regulator adjusted to maintain
68 psi to the laser. It emptied faster than expected because I used it to
back up the house n2 when I installed a transmitting gauge.
I also replaced the He cylinder.

 Removed mt O2 cylinder to microlab storage - # 5395
The remaining O2 cylinder is on--line -  #AC 4536

The 'amerigas' LN dewar is low but not empty. There are two n2
cylinders next to the dewar for use as necessary.
Dewar level will be checked again Friday.

The smallest cylinder available for 50/50 mix of SiH4/PH3 is a size 3,
the same as the DCS. The cost would be $412 and availability is 5 working
days. Cylinder contains 14.1 cf at 852 psi full.

Alarm on the O2 were caused by a LOX cylinder that wasn't boiling
O2 fast enough, (to good a dewar!). I valved on the reserve
cylinder whitch restored the pressure to 40 psi. I can opn
the pressure building valve on the errant LOX bottle;
however, this will increase the boil off rate to a point
where we are waisting O2. We may do this upon return but for
now we are on a full bottle at the proper pressure and the
low pressure bottle will act as a backup. Worst case, we
deliver O2 at 20 psi which is still capable of supporting
the Microlabs needs.

Evan, lets look at this situation together, we may have a
leaky chack valve on this cylinder or we may be just on the
edge of having enough boil off due to this cylinder being a
very good dewar!

Replaced H2 gas bottle on H2/O2 torch next to the ionmill.
There was no relative empty tank so a full bottle was placed on line.
(There is no hydrogen currently in the gas storage room. Working
to have some delivered by receiving (2nd request).)
