>>> 'bonder' problem from hsin -- Mon Jul  3 14:29:08 1989 <<<

I trained John Gamelin to use the bonder and let him practice on
it. Initially it is fine, after the Al wire break he try to thread
it through the tip but somehow the cotton ball separate from the
Al wire. I do not know how to rethread the Al wire through the cotton
ball. Bonder needs to be rethreaded through the cotton. Marilyn should
be the one who can do this.

Problem: The bonder will not bond; all setting have been checked
         out; there seems to be a problem with the bonder finding
         the correct height.

     working.

For first contact, needle part was just free-falling.

Evan Stateler will be lopoking into problems with the z-stitch.
In the meantime, please send additional problem mail for the bonder
if you are in desperate need of it as we are extremely busy at the
moment and the bonder is not on the top of our priority list.

Problem: Plastic ring at "first" setting broken away from knob.
Cause: Unnecessary force.
Solution: Unscrewed knob and glued ring back on with Krazy Glue.
          The "first" setting was then adjusted to 1.3.
