Not working - was reading current on supply when nothing was hooked
up. Couldn't get any reading on the ammeter when set-up. Oh well . .

The current source for the 4ptprb appears to have failed. This
will be looked into ASAP, hopefully Monday. Until this problem
is corrected the 4ptprb is down.

Work on the 4ptprb has been delayed by a failure to locate schematics
for HP current source. There appear to be none within Cory Hall-
another appeal will be made to HP tomorrow and hopefully they will
fax this information to us shortly.

A service manual for the HP current source has been ordered. It
should arrive within the week, at which time the supply will be
repaired.

problem: User reports current source not working- meter on supply
indicates current flow with no load connected.

cause: User not familiar with use of current source. When the
voltage limit LED is lit the front panel ammeter indicates
the programmed output current rather than the actual output
current. This enables the user to set the output current
        without shorting the output terminals.

solution: A tag explaining the above operation of the current source
has been attached to it's front panel. A dummy wafer was
tested and the I/V characteristics tested normal. The 4ptprb
is up and available for use.

Unable to get power to the lower DMM - which is
typically the one used to measure voltage.
Suspiciously, the power cable for this DMM goes to the taurus box.

The wand indicates the 4ptprb is enabled, and the taurus box lights,
but still no power ?

Evan has already started to investigate.

Fuse was replaced in HP voltmeter. Taurus box is ok.
4ptprb is up
