Primera Air was a Nordic leisure flights operator which started as an Icelandic company called JetX but which later transferred its home base to Billund, Denmark. The company grew very rapidly and it started also to operate leisure flights from France, Latvia and other places and it started also transatlantic services to North America. Primera Air had had financial difficulties for a while and the company went bankrupt and ceased operations in October 2018.
