Pleiades on the left (a small star cluster in Taurus).
Parameters for this photo: Casio QV-3000EX/Ir digital camera, exposure 13 seconds, 35mm equivalent lens, aperture F2, about ISO 320 equiv. CCD (ISO 100 +2 gain), temperature was about -8 degrees Celsius (temperature affects CCD noise greatly).
(Other photos have similar parameters.)
