Walking the Way of Pilgrims

There were roughly ten of us, only British and Americans and me, who retraced the steps of Bruno from the prison of the Inquisition in Tor di Nona down through Via dei Banchi Vecchi and Via del Pellegrino (Way of Pilgrims) to the Campo dei Fiori.

There were many wreaths and poems and statements laid down on the pedestal of the statue. They multiplied during the day, and also World Pantheist Movement made its contribution.

After a while, we went inside a cafe in the square to warm up.

The company disbanded, and I went with Harrinsons and Siv to the residence where John and Carol Courtney were staying. A family legend of the apartment's owner told that Giordano Bruno had been held as a prisoner in the basement of the building for some time. We could not, however, confirm this legend.
