Then there was this "Skull Cave". The three cavities were actually quite deep, perhaps 5 meters. Some side caves were visible, but it's hard to say if they extended far. The Dachstein area has some of the largest cave systems in Europe. I didn't go down to examine the caves because it was already quite late in the afternoon and climbing down would take about four hours.
