       USAGE

       rrrrrrrraaaannnnggggeeee [----hhhhllll] [_m_i_n _m_a_x]

       DESCRIPTION

RRRRrrrraaaannnnggggeeee can be used without argument to display the minimum
and maximum radii for the current range window specified for
       the current image.

----llll Void all points with radius < _m_i_n.

----hhhh Void all points with radius > _m_a_x.

_m_i_n Set lower radius limit to _m_i_n microns.

_m_a_x Set upper radius limit to _m_a_x microns.

       For example, the command:

       rrrrrrrraaaannnnggggeeee

will result in a response of the form:

       rrrrmmmmiiiinnnn====1111222255557777 rrrrmmmmaaaaxxxx====111166663333777777771111

This feature tends to be used a great deal in the process of
       working with various images.

Alternatively and almost as commonly, rrrrrrrraaaannnnggggeeee is used with
integer arguments to set limits on the minimum and maximum
radial coordinate value to be allowed within the specified
       window of the image.

Invoking rrrrrrrraaaannnnggggeeee for the purpose of setting minimum and/or
maximum radial limits requires two integer arguments and
both must be expressed in microns.

       Example:

       rrrrrrrraaaannnnggggeeee 11115555000000000000 111155555555000000000000

If you simply wish to specify your choice of radius range
limits, all radial coordinates falling below the minimum are
raised to that minimum and all those which exceed the
maximum are lowered to the maximum specified.

                                  - 2 -

On the other hand you may employ either or both of the
optional switches if you wish to void those points whose
original radius falls outside the radius limits you set.

       Example:

       rrrrrrrraaaannnnggggeeee ----llll 5555000000000000 111100005555000000000000

This command will cause all regions of the image having
radii below 5000 microns to be void while, on the other
hand, all regions having radii in excess of 105000 microns
will assume be reduced to 105000 microns.

Conversely, the ----hhhh option causes the radii exceeding your
upper limit to be converted to voids. Both options can be
employed with the command if you wish. The only restriction
is that, if the void setting options are employed, both
range limits must also be present.

You will need to exercise some care to ensure that your
rrrrrrrraaaannnnggggeeee arguments make sense. It is fairly easy for an extra
0 to sneak in where you don't want it, usually in the lower
limit as luck would have it. Needless to say, if this
results in the lower limit exceeding the upper, you'll be
left with a less than illuminating image. An equally useful
image results when you punch return with only one limit on
       the command line.

       CAVEATS

It should be noted that the actual data values are
permanently altered and that rrrrrrrraaaannnnggggeeee is not window command
       like llllttttrrrraaaannnnggggeeee and llllggggrrrraaaannnnggggeeee.
