I need to practice some more to get it right and make sure I'm doing what I think I'm doing! I haven't come across it before, so a "Genie" it is, unless anyone else knows differently. There's a similar kind of trick I've been developing which I call the "Understatement" (yeah, crap name, right?). Fly the kite right to left and then kill it dead by throwing both hands forwards. The nose should be pointing away from you and the face of the kite out to the left. A sharp tug on the left line causes the kite to "flip under" itself either to a horizontal position (fly back out to the right) or let it come back around until the nose is up. Landing is optional :-) Sorry it's not a good description, but I'm still a little unsure myself as to what the secrets are to make it work well or bad. As and when I know more, I'll let you know.
