This is my first time looking through this newsgroup and I have a question. I have two double control line kites that I am having a tough time getting to fly right. Is this a place where I can start a dialog of questions? Or are there experts out there who would prefer to e-mail advice? Curious and bored on windy days... Is this the place to get a dialog of questions ? Are ther experts out there who would prefer to e-mail advice ? Well Ken that's why were here !! First off it my be helpful to know what your difficulty is with the kite & what type of kite you are currantly having problems with . As for experts, you'll end up with a lot of different answers and you get to try and figure it out on your own ( JUST KIDDING). If you describe your question in good detail you shall find that you can find excellent help in rec.kites. GOOD WINDS FOREVER !! Or was it alt.aquaria? A bit more seriously, yes there are lots of people who--as far as I can tell --are not only able but *eager* to answer your questions. We have several serious nuts online, several professionals, and a lot of people who clearly spend a lot of time playing with kites. The topics run towards stunt kiting, festivals, Kite power (esp. buggying), and safety. So... you had a question of some sort?
