This beach has been ideal for doing buggying in the past. For some unknown reasons (environmental protection or so) it is now forbidden to ride with the buggy on this beach. At the same time windsurfers or sailors can still go BY CAR on the beach to bring their equipment near to the water... The Drachenmagazin hast started an action and produced postcards that should be send to the local administration. On this postcard the wish is expressed to regain access to the closed beach. This postcard can be found in each actual issue (2/95) which has appeared in Germany around 16th of march. If you want to help the buggy community in Germany than please participate in this action and also send this postcard to the administration of St. Peter Ording. Additional postcards can be ordered from DrachenMagazin, Postfach 201863, 20208 Hamburg, Germany. Please help the buggy people in Germany to regain access to one of the finest buggy beaches in this area.
