  I know the spin that was talked about in the original flying fighters
question. 
  I am far from an expert but my fighter was shipped to me pre-made.  I also
got that spin and in the directions it said MAKE NO ADJUSTMENTS.  So I don't
think it has to do with the bow.
  I found that if I gave the line a good pull the kite would come out of it.  I
also learned how to do it on purpose and then pull out of it to get the oooo's
and ahahahahaha's from passer bys.
  I had the advantage of never having flown a stunter before learning the
fighter so I wasn't influenced by stunt controling.
  I have found it's just something you have to get the hang of.
