There seems to be an error in the plans. Specifically, in the drawing of the "Outer rib", the straight edge at the bottom of the rib is shown being 84 cm long. But the length of the front of the kite is 95 cm long. It seems that these two numbers ought to be the equal. (In The "Center rib", the numbers look equal, as do all the ribs in the larger "Flowform" kite plans.) (If you draw a rectangle around the whole "Outer rim" drawing, the width of the rectangle is 95 cm, which suggests something about how the error could have arisen.) I wasn't about to go out and make one of these. I'm just studying Flowform plans in order to learn more about Flowforms. Thanks. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Date: Wed, 22 Nov 1995 21:26:00 -1000 From: andrew@tug.com (Andrew Beattie) Message-Id: Organization: /usr/lib/news/organisation Subject: Re: Flowform Junior dlw@odi.com writes: >Specifically, in the drawing of the "Outer rib", the straight edge at >the bottom of the rib is shown being 84 cm long. Also take the keels from the big flow form and scale it to fit the Junior Flowform. Also scale the brildes form the big on. Email if you need the exact measurements I will pull mine out and measure it. > I wasn't about to go out and make one of these. I made mine out of scraps (I'll put a picture of it up on my web page someday).
