Pass the loop on the end of your line thru the aluminum ring that's attached to the bag of the Flexi, then make a larkshead knot around the spar _between_ the grommet and the rubber end cap on the spar. Repeat for the other side.. Cobra Kites recommends that you tape the spar joints (electrical tape) before sliding the spar into the spar sleeve in the bag. This will prevent the spars from separating in a crash and possibly tearing/puncturing the spar pocket. If you'll e-mail me your USnail address, I'll gladly send you a set of Flexi instructions.. Ob. At either end of the sail, you'll see a sewn-in loop of webbing with a metal ring at the end. Run the kite line's loop through the metal ring and then larks-head it around the tip of the spar between the rubber spar tip and the rubber grommet. That's all there is to it. If you don't run the line through the metal ring, the sail will bunch up on the spar. Jeff (who hopes you get this e-mail in time to try the kite this weekend...;-) -- |Jeffrey C. I think that these are typical UK prices (in UK pounds): 4' 45.50 6' 59.95 8' 110.25 10' 125.00 12' 295.00 The specials (rainbow, quatro, splitz etc are more) Last time I looked, UK retailers had the best prices in the world for Flexifoils (well, what do you expect? they are made here), with little variation, and our very own Dan Rubesh had the best prices for Ultraflex spars (The UF spars are made in the USA) Andrew -- Netiquette-of-the-day: The place for test postings is in a test newsgroup.
