I'm new to both kiting and the internet so please excuse any ignorant mistakes.. Having just benn to my first kite festival and seen stacked flexis' I decided to get another to partner mine, the problem is how to stack 'em. I've read the details in the foils intructions and there are four different ways of doing it, any advice as the best way to d it leaving the line flexible for taking just one kite if the wind is really strong or maybe two? Thanks for any help.. Larkshead onto the top kite as usual, but tie an interlocking larks head (one head inside the other) on the lower kite. This makes the force on the lower spar be applied at a point. If you have separate knots they have a tendancy to spread out and possibly damage the spar. If you are going for more than a couple of kites then I would make up a special set of train lines with loops on for each kite, and a knot at the bottom so that you can larks head this onto your regular fly lines.
