I'm considering selling my Fire Dart so that I can upgrade. It is 8'7" by 3'4", with eight panels in an aqua and black antisymmetric pattern (as shown in Into the Wind). It is pretty durable with fiberglass tubing, but still pretty light at 12.1oz (1.24oz/ft^2). Because of the durability and large size it makes a good learning kite. I think the wind range is about 3 - 15mph. It's a little over a month old and in good condition. Asking price is $90, but I'm flexible. Into the Wind wants $125. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. Any takers? Have a friend or relative who may be interested in getting into kites? home: 617-489-1619 (Belmont, MA) work: 617-253-0452 (Cambridge, MA) -- Lee Hetherington ilh@lcs.mit.edu = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Date: Sun, 13 Jun 1993 07:03:38 -1000 From: ilh@lcs.mit.edu (Lee Hetherington) Message-Id: Organization: MIT/LCS Spoken Language Systems Subject: Re: Fire Dart for sale (?) That's half the mail-order price for a fairly new kite. -- Lee Hetherington ilh@lcs.mit.edu = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
