Is there anyone on Rec.kites that lives in the Oklahoma City area for that matter? Good winds. There are several good kite flyers in OKC. Look in the phone book under Kenetic Kites. Tom will lead you into the right direction. I think he is in Bethany. Richard Dermer loves to fly fighters. He's from Stillwater but does go to OKC quite abit to fly. Later P.S. The AKA convention will be in Tulsa this year. -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dick Bell dickbell@netcom.com Dallas, Texas = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Date: Tue, 20 Jun 1995 10:49:42 -1000 From: csalome@dialup.fdn.fr (SALOME Christophe) Message-Id: <3s7c96$a4l@jabba.fdn.org> Organization: fdn.fr Subject: Fighters Christophe SALOME . Paris . FRANCE E-Mail : csalome@dialup.fdn.fr :-} To build beautiful fighters kites, you can use this self made glue. Here's the recepe of this glue : After so many years of well kept secret, our chef, Ludo Petit, a famous fighter kite designer and flyer, has agreed to give up the mystarious potion. Now, it's time to go to the kitchen and don't do like some of us : don't eat the glue intead of your favorit yogourt... or if you intend to do so, it's much better with a bit of chocolate... Ingredients : 300g of water, 100g of flour, 1 tea spoon of gum arabic, 1 egg white and 1 sugar cube. How to make it? : Mix the lot, cook on a strong flame for 5 to 10 minutes. After getting a thickness, cook on a gentle flame for 10 more minutes. Never stop turning the ingredients while in process and your glue is ready. Keep in refrigerator. (well away from your yogourts.) P.S. you'll find gum arabic at your local chemist. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = From: bill oakley Subject: fighters Date: Thu, 16 May 1996 15:34:25 -1000 Organization: oakley construction Message-ID: <4ngl31$lvo@tofu.alt.net> i am new to this group and would like to exchange talk and info about figher kites i make nylon and icarex indian fighers anyone in the southern mo area i am always looking for friends to fly with the new jordon air fighter is great good winds to all = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
