OOPS! I posted this and forgot to change the subject line so that others
interested in Fighters would read this.

I also forgot to mention that Vic, maker of Vic's Fighters, attended and
also participated in the fighting. Unfortunately, he didn't make it to the
finals. He had to fight Basir, and Basir lucked out! Vic is a very
friendly guy who enjoys fighting when he gets a chance, his kite store in
San Diego keeps him quite busy.

Side note: In the youngest flyer competition, Vic's son won 1st place and
our daughter, Michelle, won 2nd. Vic's son and Michelle are both two years
old, and the kids had to actually fly their kites all by themselves, not
just holding a "kite on a stick".
