Sorry to disappoint, Colin, but if the USA delegation is any indication, you will have a tough time getting a quality "pench" (match) together. As far as I know, the American group includes Mike and Dawn Simmons, Ron and Sandy Gibean, George Peters, Scott Skinner, Tom Cassleman, Richard and Marti Dermer, and Susie and myself. Other possibilities include Jose Sainz, Randy Tom, Pete Dolphin, and the Flight Squadron. So what that means is that you will get some spectacular kites - especially fighters from George, Jose, and Ron - but no well known fighter aficinados. And while I wrote a book about them, don't expect me to fly better than anyone else in the group. Besides, I hear the darned things spin *backwards* down there... We're all really looking forward to the trip! See you in a few months. Yes, you had better check your spin direction on your fighters before you get down here - then see which way they rotate when you fly them on arrival. Also everyone should carefully check which direction their bathtub water rotates as it goes out the plughole - it's the first thing New Zealand youngsters do on arriving in North America for the first time :-) : We're all really looking forward to the trip!
