Subject: Festival Announcement - Coventry. UK


The 2nd Coventry Kite Festival is to be held on the War Memorial Park,


Kenilworth Road, Coventry on Sunday 20th August 1995

the day after The Kite Society Convention which is being held nearby.


Organised by The Midlands Kite Fliers and Coventry City Council we
have arenas for both single line and sport kites on this very popular
park.  Ian Meredith of the British Buggy Club will be demonstrating
his skills both on the PA system and on his buggy (not at the same
time though).

Charlie Charlton of the Artistic Kite Group is holding an artistic
kite competition, and trophies given to the winners.

There will be lots to do for the family.  Pony rides, bouncy castles,
children's kite making workshop, Roving musicans, juggling
demonstrations and dancing and lots more.  Craft stall, food stalls,
face painting, artists and artistes, mini fun-fair and golf course.

There will be a selection of major kite retailers in which to buy your
spares or top up your kite bag with a  new kite.

Free admission.  Free parking.
