The sanctioning of the '94 KiteFest in New Orleans was reported on page 13 of the November/December Kiting ("Recent Board Actions"). You are now demanding a copy of the actual sanctioning application and canceled check. Sorry. I don't have them. Last year's paperwork was sent to the AKA archives in January. And if you really need the check, call the KiteLoft's bank. Just this once, take my word for it. AKA didn't make the whole thing up. Let's drop the subject now. You made a mistake. You are human. Well now Mr.Gomberg, you pointed a finger at who you thought the culpirt was. Now Surlock, how does that address the question I asked in the first place. What is a contestant to do *IF* an event advertises it is AKA sanctioned and is really not? You were a good dic now answer the question. Mel Hickman provided assistance by confirming an events status, but is there something a contestant can do when they have been lured to an event? Maybe they could ask you to find out which event it is. Maybe they should ask David "the Snoop" Gomberg. I don't think that was the content of the question. Like many things past David has completely either missed the question or re-directed the question to benefit himself. Oh, BTW - I wasn't an AKA member at the time this issue was distributed. I'll get one from a friend. -- *************>>>>>>>>>>>>>MR.NASTY<<<<<<<<<<<<<************** Fiesta Kite Ideas http://www.tmn.com/kiteweb/home.htm 8302 Tiguex Mr.Nasty@ix.netcom.com Universal City, TX 78148 (210) 659-1803 or (512) 326-6221 ************************************************************* = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
