If you are building one of Mr Bells tetras you will find that they don't have much pull at all. Also be carefule with the weight of your cross connecting rods or it will not fly but in the strongest of winds. Let us know how it works out. Stein Sohn GmbH - Mess- und Regeltechnik Subject: estimate tractive power Hello all kite-flyers, for a long time I read the news in this group, and now I have a question myself. In this time I am building a big tetraeder- kite with many sails. The cross-connecting pieces I've made of acryl-glass-tubes, and to stretch the sails I've little o-rings, stuck on with a special adhesive. The next week I hope I will finish my first kite I've built myself. Now my question : What must I do to estimate the tractive power ?? I hope you can help me, thanks.
