Since there has been so much talk about design, can anyone suggest reading material on the design of sails on sailboats, and hang gliders?? I remember Marty mentioning something about modeling books/magazines having topics on aerodynamics. Marty, do you have a list that I can use to find some of the issues of these. Right now, my main objective is to understand the whys, wherefores, and so on about the camber induced in sails. I know the purpose is to generate an airfoil, I just want to know more about it. Please reply via the newsgroup or send mail via compuserve cause I can't get mail from the net on this machine yet. My compuserve address is 73110,562@compuserve.com. "Skip" Smith. The first few chapters provide a great deal of insight into how things work. There are also chapters on control and stability. Reading the book caused several light bulbs to go on above my head.
