911...promised my colorado brother i'd ask if there are any great flying
fields in/around denver. needed badly to save his sanity. :]

There are some soccer fields just to the southwest of Kennedy Golf 
Course off Hampden Avenue. The fields are between Hampden and I-225, 
and have plenty of space -- there's nothing to disturb the flow of the 
wind for hundreds of yards in any direction. I've found that if there's 
any wind at all, this is one of the best places in Denver to fly.
