I am looking for plans to build a delta that can be flown either dual or quad. I like fling quad, mostly home built REV types. I have seen the Ultra fly and would like to build something similar. Thank You You could consider a DV8.... Not like the ultra, but designed to fly on 2 and 4 lines... Thank You I think you can quadline almost any two-line kite with a reasonable degree of success. I've tried it with a Tracer, Sandpiper, Phantom Elite, Griffin and maybe a couple of other which I can't remember. I just attach the flying lines around the vinyls on the leading edge. This presents the kite to you flat on which is about how you want it. My Rev handles have knotted line out of the top and bottom so I can just slip the bottom lines in or out a few knots to adjust the angle of the kite. To be honest, it's a gimmicky thing, rather than a serious quad line fly, in my opinion, but it's fun and that's as good a reason as any. Watching a delta fly backwards is really quite weird!
