There is no room to go anyway. What is this Dodd, sour grapes? ;-) There is room to buggy down at Ponce Inlet, but it *is* illegal as it is still in Volusia County. I have buggied there twice and been asked to leave twice, but until they make you leave it's a *lot* of fun. There is about a 5 to 6 mile stretch between the jetty at Ponce inlet and the first pier to the north. The condos don't get large until the last 1/2 mile at the north end. With the typical on shore breezes and low tide, the condos have only a minor effect on your wind. I will be there with my buggy, but it will probably stay in the car. I'm optimistic enough to bring it, but not optimistic enough to think that I'll get to use it. Incidentally, this year they did schedule the festival to coincide with a mid-day low tide, so there will be lots more room for kites, people, sky trash or whatever you want to see out there. You can do it till you get caught, but the answer is still the same! Let's save the buggying for a place where it is allowed like......................Wildwood. At least ther your buggy doesn't have to remain in your car, it can be where it suppose to be. on the sand. Dean and i will be meeting at ponce inlet about 12:00 noon on thursday MAY 11th. i think we can outsmart them for a couple of hours. Not really. we have been there alot of times and as long as your safe they let you buggy if there is not alot of tourist around. But if you don't want to buggy there will be a great festival there. Roger has a lot of good builders and flyers there. hope to see you there. No law, and no spectators. Little wind, but just enough for us newcummers to the three wheeled demon. Went out Monday with a little more success. Crazed the beach for about 3 hrs. 'for the wind died.
