Thanks guys, for a fun video with good music (lots of Queen) and plenty of kite flying. (I think I know your team ballet by heart) The best version of their team ballet on the tape is where you can hear the maneuver commands. This is definitly great for someone trying to learn team flying. Some of the sunset shots are amazing. Sure the video copy had some video deficiencies but it *was* free. (I believe you have to be a customer to get one, ie buy something) A good hour of kiting fun. Thanks again to Rob Scribner and the whole Cutting Edge Crew. (When will you be giving away free XTCs?) Mark Virgilio (uspehmev@ibmmail.com) PS - Who was the axeling Edge pilot? Lee Sedgewick, who has been discussed recently, appears flying 3-D and his stack of Revs. Also some buggy and sand skate sequences from last year's AKA convention. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Date: Wed, 13 Apr 1994 19:33:09 -1000 From: Steve Irby Message-Id: Organization: Delphi (info@delphi.com email, 800-695-4005 voice) Subject: Re: Cutting Edge Video writes: >PS - Who was the axeling Edge pilot? That was Scott Augenbaugh (sp?)of Team High Performance, competing in Masters Ballet, during the North Coast Challenge at Seaside OR, the weekend before the AKA convention. The Lee Sedgewick scenes were during the seminar he conducted during the convention. I shared this footage with Rob to include in his new video. They have added a music track except at some competitions where they used the live audio. Also some interesting freeze frame (not to be confused with my ballet for this year) shots of their team in flight. No mention of year but it does have the North Coast Challenge and AKA Nationals so it pretty much covers '93. I think it is sort of a Christmas gift to their fans and customers. Thanks to Steve Irby for the info. Guess I should have made that bet with my wife but usually you spot Scott by his blond hair - I guess he was wearing a bandana.
