I have gone through our library & have seen all sorts of pics, but alas, no plans. I'd like to build one in the 8ft. range. Cody's War Kites' by Hugh Andrew. This is 52 pages worth of info and plans on every last detail of building a Cody - but be warned, hes trying to describe how to make a kite that Cody might think was from his workshop, so you might have to do revolutionary stuff like substitute carbon for bamboo ( dunno if that would work... ). You might have to send to him if you want a copy, it was published privately, so if you want to get in touch, mail me and I'll let you have the address he gives in the book. -- Mark de Roussier ******************************************* I do not want people to be very agreeable, as it saves me the trouble of liking them a great deal. Tnx PN There has been a very good plan for building a Cody Kite (different versions - short wing, long wing, top-sail, and a description of how S.F.C's Man-Lifting System is working - with all details to build such a system) from a dutch guy called: Nico van den Berg. The plan was made in 1988 and is completely in dutch, but as there is not so much text to read it's no problem for kite builders to understand the drawings. Interesting are the sail reinforcements (right term ?) - they are drawed in scale 1:1, you can easily copy them to the ripstop nylon. I don't know if it is still availiable yet. Any ideas about that from our dutch friends ? If not, it is sold by mail through Kite Lines, the american magazine. FXfraipont@msn.com = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
