So, you think the three wise men were the victims of a cruel coincidence, and mistook the first night flight by an early experimental Arabian XTC ( made from stretched sheeps intestines and hemp line ) for the Guiding Star ? Yeah ! It probably wasn't very manouverable, so would tend to stay in one place in the sky. If we make the reasonable assumption that the Magi were travelling in a caravan, and further that the kite was actually being flown by a rich playboy to pass the time whilst crossing the dunes ( well, it's what *I'd* do :), we can explain why the star was seen on a number of days, and furthermore *why it always seemed to precede them*, asif it were leading them on ( sic :). This is starting to have the makings of a serious theory. If I were you I'd get in touch with the National Enquirer( U.S. ) / Sunday Sport ( UK ) / Bishop of Durham ( <- UK atheist in - joke !:) and pass the revelation on !
