Subject: Children's Workshop at AKA Convention

I am posting this message on behalf of Sheri Erlich:

The Childrens Kite Workshop is a new and exciting program that will be
taking place at the AKA National Convention in Wildwood, NJ this October.

Students from Cape May County, Burlington County and Bucks County will be
taking part in kite building workshops and competitions, stunt kite flying
lessons, safety, history and judging workshops and kite games.

This is a first time event for the AKA and the Eastern League and is sure
to be a big success, but not without your help. There are numerous
committees you can sign-up for, and we are only asking for 2 hours of your
time. All volunteers will receive a limited edition Children's Kite
Workshop pin (a definate collectors item!).

The Childrens Kite Workshop will be held on Wednesday October 12th and
Friday October 14th from 10:00am to 2:00pm on the beach at Wildwood. We
are looking for enthusiastic, young-at-heart people who will enjoy working
with the children as much as we will.

If you are interested in volunteering or have any questions, please call
or e-mail immediately. There is still much work to be done, and the
convention is less than 4 weeks away. We'll see you there!
