How does your car cope with the job of carrying your kites? I keep my kites assembled (ie the leading edges are not broken into two) and end up with a number of kites that are around the 6 foot length. To get my kite bag into my car (a Vauxhall Astra 1991 hatchback) I have to put one of the back seats down, and lay the bag diagonally across the back of the car - it only just fits. As part of the process of thinking of getting a new car, I have to make sure that my kite bags will fit, otherwise there will be no point :-) So, how well does *your* car manage? I've tried the Toyota(?) RAV4 jeep. Useless. No length at the back, and the roof is not high enough. Some saloon cars have 'ski-hatches' in the rear seats that look tempting, but they are too small to take a kite bag. (And apologies to the non-car people, including a sadly increasing number of people with stolen cars :-{ -- _____ ceci n'est ____ _ pas une _ _ email (__ __) o ______ ( __)( )_ ___ ___ _( )_( )_ ___ ______ (____) (_)(_)()(_) (____)(_)_)(__=)(__=) (_)_(_)_)(___)_(_)()(_) www.guernsey.net/~jim +44 1344 472537 = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
