Subject: Canadian National Hobby Show

The Canadian National Hobby Show is this weekend at the Automotive
building of the CNE grounds in Toronto. As usuall the Toronto
Kitefliers has a large booth to promote kiting to the public. This
is a minor milestone for the TKF as it's their 5th year at this
event, which occurs twice annually. 

Anyone interested in touring the show can call one of the TKF
Executive to arrange for a show pass, otherwise it's $7 at the door.

Highlights of the TKF booth include:

- a Bee & Queen Bee pair by Frank Schweimann (sp?, sorry Frank)
- Brigid's Sheild Rokkaku by Boreal Kites
- one of the ubiquitous Cross-Deck kites from Carl's plan in KL
- Parabears :-) for Chriss Lee and the 2nd CDN PB Squadron
- Malaysian silk butterfly from Don Brownridge's collection
- as well as various other kites large & small
