Can someone suggest a good mail order company to buy it from? There prices were the lowest around and they had the best color selection. The rev2 line is the same lenght for both the top and bottom of each handle. The rev1's line has differengt length for the top andbottom, which I found out the hard way. They unintentionally sent me the line for my rev1 with the lines reversed, so it would not fly. My son and I tried for about 3 weeks to get the damn thing to fly with no luck. I called Catch the Wind, and of course, they had no idea abvout the line lengths, luckily some guy walking down the beach saw my frustation, and set me straight. He just reversed the lines top for bottom, and up it went!! good luck, mail your results to Steve Heller =steveh@i-2000.com = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Date: Wed, 8 Feb 1995 23:46:48 -1000 From: john.mitchell@multinet.de (john) Message-Id: <199502090946.AA05680@BlackBird.MultiNET.DE> Organization: Harvard University Office of Information Technology Subject: Re: buying revs Hi all, > In article <3h5fch$2q4@ram.ramnet.net>, dshriver@mail.ramnet.net (Dave Shriver) says: > > > >Hi, > > > > I am going to buying a rev II sometime in the very near future. Be sure you ask for a big discount before you buy these older Rev. I's. Changes that have taken place include kevlar reinforcing on the leading edge where vertical and horizontal spars cross. Spars are even more reiforced on the ends and inner ferrules are used instead the heavy stainless-steel outer ferrule. Clips and swivels are removed from the bridle. All these items have taken place on Rev. I's after about the winter 1992/93.
