The British Buggy Club (BBC) has a solution to the Buggy Insurance problem. This is how it works: If you are a UK resident, 13 pounds buys you into the clubs public liability insurance, to give you cover anywhere in the world except North America. Cover for North America can be arranged on request, but may not be needed for AKA sanctioned events. For non-UK residents, the 13 pounds buys you cover only when you are buggying in the UK. To join up, send a cheque for 13 pounds to: Mike Shaw Off Beat Sportz Unit 3 Upper Wote Street Basingstoke Hants RG21 1NE UK I would encourage all British buggiers to support this effort. As far as I am aware, it covers buggying anywhere - no site registration, no tests, no dumb rules, no hassle. There will, however, be considerable pressure to see that the policy is not abused - if you cause minor property damage, you will be expected to settle it yourself, rather than see everyone hit for increased premiums next year. Andrew PS: I think that Ian and Mike have paid up front for this out of their own pockets, so over-payment or donations would probably be most welcome. -- This is not the account that I usually Email from.
