I'm building one using a kids racing fork and I have two problems: 1) The "low speed" pneumatic wheelbarrow wheels have 6 inch hubs (that is THROUGH the hubs). So 7 inch long 5/8 inch carriage bolts are probably too soft--what do you use for the axle bolts? Should I buy the "high speed" tires and hubs with a 1 inch bore and put the axle tube directly through the hubs? HEEELLLLP. 2) Where do I get tubing? Should I buy chrome-moly or can I use something cheaper? What are you guys (with little money) doing? Thanks for any help!! gary hakuna@pacific.net = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Date: Wed, 14 Feb 1996 20:46:29 -1000 From: mielse@euronet.nl (Emiel Stroeve) Message-Id: <4fukso$aam@news.euro.net> Organization: Euronet Internet Subject: Re: Buggy help hakuna@pacific.net (hakuna) wrote: >Hi All, >Can anyone help with a home-made buggy. For tubing you have to use Stainless steel (if you're often near water). see you, emiel Emiel Stroeve The Netherlands miel@knoware.nl -------------------------------------------------------------- <<< http://www.euronet.nl/users/mielse/index.html >>> = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
