However, I also bought a MGB GT. This is an old British sports(ish) car that you might just get the buggy into if you took out the front seats of the car, and took the wheels off the buggy. Problem! So I bought a "Paddy Hopkirk" (I think) cycle carrier which straps onto the back of almost any vehicle. Certainly it fits both the MG and my other car. On the MG it works best upsidedown! Anyway, it cost 19UKP, and, judging by the multilingual instructions, it is available in quite a few countries. It takes about 1 minute to fit to the car (second and subsequent times, better leave yourself 10 minutes for the first attempt) and the buggy fits it in a further minute. Just thought that I would pass that on. For me it is cheaper than 2 roof racks for both cars, (20 years between them, I cant get a roofrack to fit both) Andy -- ____________________________Andrew Hawken______________________________ "However many ways there may be of being alive, it is certain that there are vastly more ways of being dead" R Dawkins. I can vouch for the fact this type ofbike rack works great...have been using a similar design for the past seven months on my Nissan. One word of advice for would be rack users...invest in a chain or cable attached to the frame of the car and which wraps around the buggy. While this won't stop thiefs completely, it will give some peace of mind while you're in the local stop and go shop picking up a six pack of soda (or whatever).
