Perhaps some of you would like to come early and enjoy a three day jaunt to El Mirage with a few hard-core Buggy Friend. Sample the majesty of the High Desert and Buggy on a site bigger than you can imagine! "Thang'ers" will fly into SFO or Oakland on Tuesday 26 July and leave in the evening for the overnite drive to El Mirage. We greet the dawn of the first day with breakfast and an Early Bird Buggy Ride! Motel acconodations in Adelanto run about $35/nite for a double. nice beds, tv,phones. Everyone pays for their own food. We will have water and iced coolers on the lake bed. Fill them with whatever you like. The sun will be hot! The wind blows most every day! Blows at night too! Off-road "pucker bump" runs are a gas! Return to San Francisco Bay Area on Friday evening to give SKC competitiors a chance to get ready before Saturdays event begins. You could be there and experience the buggy thrill of a lifetime, get warmed up for Bob Childs Buggies at Bonny event in September. Some of us are flying in to SFO on Tues July 26, renting a van and driving overnite to great the dawn on Weds morning.
