Ron Reich mentioned this already, but it is a nice trick, it is worth mentioning again. Anyway: 1. Attach a hook to the tip of your Rev or other quadline kite. 2. Place a ring on the end of your bubble hoop. Make sure that it sticks up. 3. Use the hook to pick up the bubble hoop from a basin of bubble liquid. Dave Brittain uses the hook to pick up and drop all sorts of things with his Rev. I haven't tried this yet, but it does look like loads of fun. -- Marty Sasaki Harvard University Sasaki Kite Fabrications sasaki@noc.harvard.edu Network Operations Division 26 Green Street 617-496-4320 10 Ware Street Jamaica Plain, MA 02130 Cambridge, MA 02138-4002 phone/fax: 617-522-8546 = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Date: 5 May 1993 13:18:07 -0500 From: lucifer@emx.cc.utexas.edu (Light-Bearer) Message-Id: <1s90cvINN36j@emx.cc.utexas.edu> Organization: The University of Texas at Austin, Austin, Texas Subject: Re: BUBBLES! He had a hook on the end of his RevI, and he had a host of toys that he played with. One was a teddy bear, one was a basket ball (which he dropped in a hoop), and a bubble blowing ring (multiple holes as I remember). If anyone ever has a chance to see David fly, you'll be amazed. BTW - the current SKQ has a feature length article on him, complete with equipment and flying tips for indoor flying. Cheers and tight lines, Dean -- Q \ | Dean C.
