I was flying my 3/4 Edge the other week in some high winds that were really gusting at points. End result: I split the lower leading edge spar (the split seemed to go for about 5-6 inches). I used some super glue and repaired it, but I have a feeling that the spar's flexibility is now screwed up. So, is it the opinion of rec.kiters to bag the spar and spring for a new one, or will this not cause any problems (I haven't flown it since). Would like to know soon, since I'll be traveling with it in about 2 weeks. Thanks. -Greg GNYCE@NAS.EDU = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Date: Tue, 18 Jan 1994 11:12:19 -1000 From: sc5@prism.gatech.edu (CSEPLO,STEPHEN P) Message-Id: <132561@hydra.gatech.EDU> Organization: Georgia Institute of Technology Subject: Re: broken spar In article <9400187589.AA758911944@nas.edu> gnyce@nas.edu (Gregory Nyce) writes: > >to bag the spar and spring for a new one, or will this not cause any problems Get a new one.
