But what I want to know is will I, as Joe Public, be able to try out some of the more interesting types of kites there. I want to try a Revolution and maybe some larger Delta wings than the 6' one I have, as well as some flexifoils. Anyone out there know the answer, or anyone going who would be prepared to let me have a go?? Yup, those dates are correct. I'm attending Bristol for the first time this year, so if any previous attendees want to let out on what goes on, where, who, how much, etc., I'd be interested. Anyone planning on camping over there who knows where the camping is and what it is like? And are there any plans for us rec.kiters to meet up? While I'm there, I'm happy to nail out my icosidodecahedron drogue somewhere for people to use as a meeting flag. It's a ball about 3-4 ft high made up of pink pentagons and purple triangles (although I'm sure you all know what an icosidodecahedron is). I'll probably be somewhere near the main arena with a group of people. If you find the ball and not me, someone can probably point me out. Perhaps I might leave a pad or something by the ball so that we can leave messages saying "we're at the bar", "we'er shtill at the barr" and "cant wwalksh - comeew ankds fijind usn at theg bvare" Cheers Andy Andy Wardley is the man from abw@peritas.demon.co.uk. If past events are a good guide, then I'll be parking my white escort estate just inside the arena, with some ugly great Lynn animal tied to the bumper. The car will be open and you are welcome to use it as a meeting place, shelter or store. I only ask that you don't sit in *front* of it, just incase the Phrog decides to drag the car over you...
