Hello to everyone. In general raising the bridle (pulling the nose forward, bridling light, what ever you want to call it) will open up the window and give the kite more floating ability. A team needs to have a big a window as possible. Unfortunately the extra float makes it tough to hold stalls and other "stop kite" tricks: I've seen team members runing forward like crazy to hold a stall. More recently I believe that teams have NOT been raising the bridle as much since the tricks have become a more impotant component of the ballet and freestyle. Any comments from members of other teams? I was on the Over the Hill Gang and that's why we did it.
