The black dacron you are after is available from Fran Gramkowski (High Fly) and Cathy Goodwind (Goodwind's Kites). Great stuff! I fly it almost exclusively. For a while I was using it for Rokkaku fighting. When I got cut, I'd just splice things back together. Lots better than knotting the line or throwing the loose piece away. But now I'm fighting with something new called "Black Death". Really nasty stuff... I use the dacron for all of my "peaceful" flying. Hope that helps!
