Can someone tell me what the hell Bikini brakes ( is that how you spell it ), are actually for, what sort of conditions would they be used in, how they work etc. I am not that new to kiting but I have only recently come across these things. Please forgive me if my questions are stupid but I am trying to learn as much as possible about this great sport. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Andy. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Date: Mon, 24 Apr 1995 11:42:12 -1000 From: Bruno.Brottier@icare.fdn.org Message-Id: <1995Apr24.214212.6997@icare.fdn.org> Organization: Individual - Levallois, France. This kid of brakes are made from the same stuff as wind tamers, but they take place between bottom speaders and sail, inplace by the grace of both connectors (center tee, spreader/le) and stand-oofs. I personnaly have seen for the first time on a SwiftXL (see my previous review of this kite, I was speaking of aka bra ;-), a product from Bob Dawson. He wrote me that the manufacturer from MEFM was thinking about building the same kind of stuff ...
