In volume 9 number 4 on page 52 is a picture of Beatrix I, a delta with a wingspan of 21m (69'), a length of 63m (203'), and an overall area of 121m^2 (1299 sq. ft.) created by Rob McDonald. In the article it says that the kite did not make any of the kite categories of longest kite, largest delta, or largest kite. the Largest kite category was set in 1981 with a 553m^2 (5,952 sq ft) kite. It does not say what type of kite that was. In volume 5 number 4 is the biggest windsock...12,500 sq. ft. of spinning color called Sky Laundry created by Bob Anderson. Maybe he should cut a seam, drop a telephone pole across it, and take largest kite category with it as well.
