Hello - I will be in Brussels, Belgium, the week of Sept 19th (for work) and I *may* be able to extend my stay into that weekend. I saw that the Berlin Kite Festival is that same weekend. Are any of you planning on attending that event, and could you pass on any relevant information (schedule, etc?), and is it still possible to find a place to stay there? And, for the benefit of this Dumb American, how long of a train ride is it from Brussels to Berlin? Option B: any kite-related events the weekend of Sept. 24th anywhere near Belgium? (Wouldn't you know it - can't make Dieppe, darn darn darn) Thanks for your help! - Jo [who is looking for any excuse to hang in Europe... and to avoid going back to work] -- Joanne Petithory & Lee Thrall lthrall@netcom.com = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Date: Tue, 6 Sep 1994 20:19:45 -1000 From: lthrall@netcom.com (Jo and Lee) Message-Id: Organization: NETCOM On-line Communication Services (408 261-4700 guest) Subject: Re: Berlin Kite Festival? or Belgium? Hello (again) - I almost forgot the most important question (that is, until Lee reminded me.... :-) Are there any nifty kite stores in or near Brussels? (since I must bring Lee back a present) As always, Thanks for your help ! Noooooooo --- he wants a kite now!!! Jeeeeze!] -- Joanne Petithory & Lee Thrall lthrall@netcom.com = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
