BERKELEY KITE FESTIVAL & WEST COAST KITE CHAMPIONSHIPS
July 29-30, 1995

BERKELEY UPDATE #1


NEW ATTRACTIONS AT THIS YEAR'S BERKELEY:


BERKELEY KITE ASCENSIONS!
Two ascensions will be held each day the categories are:
	A.	Dragon/Delta
	B.	Parafoil (sleds don't count)
	C.	Cellular (extra pins for miniatures! Just Kidding :o)
	D. 	Rokaku/eddy

BERKELEY BUGGY BLAST:
		When: July 29-31
		All Terrain Races, Sat. & Sun. festival site
		Pursuit Races, Sat. & Sun. festival site
		Flat Track Races, Monday (asphalt, bring your pads)

ROKAKU BATTLE SPONSORED BY HIGH AS A KITE:
8-10 kites will be available for use in the battle. Teams of three or  
more can sign up at the festivals. 
We will have boats in the water for kite recovery.
This is of special importance to those who will use their own kites.

FREE INDOOR FLYING SEMINAR SPONSORED BY BUENA VISTA KITES:
Can flying kites indoors make you a better outdoor flier? You can find 
out for yourself at the Indoor Flying Seminar presented by Buena Vista 
Kite Co. Let indoor flying guru Peter Werba show you how easy it really 
is. All equipment will be provided. The seminar will be on Sunday 
afternoon, and it is absolutely free!  Don't miss it!
