(1-800-827-6364) Subject: Belmar NJ When an inlander like myself goes to the beach to fly kites, wearing shorts and bringing along essentials like sun glasses and sun tan lotion is a must. As soon as I got to Belmar I was reminded that we did travel north. It was cold! But, in kite flying tradition, kept my shorts and sun glasses on. It was the beach! The sky was cloudy but there was wind, good people, and lots-o-fun. Congratulations to Tony Espisito(Fly Away Kites) the guys from MOCK, Gilbert Valezquez and all who attended. This was suppose to be a small regional event, but over 30 competitors in all classes showed up for a wonderful day of competition. I saw a lot of great performances with a higher degree of skill level then I have seen in the past. These guys (and girls) are practicing! Most of these East Coast competitors will be busy the next few months with a National Compeitition down the coast this weekend in Ocean City and then back up again in a few weeks for ESKC. I'll be at both of these too, and I am looking forward to watching them again! Good Luck to all the competitors! Remember to have fun!
